This is yet another one dish meal, Hakka Mee/Hakka Noodles. These noodles are quite similar to Won Ton Noodles, except that they have less lye water and the noodles are a bit flat and thicker. They're served with bean sprouts with a generous serving of minced meat sauce.
the noodles, ........... need to loosen them up before cooking
serve with chilli sauce topped with chopped garlic ..... that will do the trick ..... yummy!

This looks great. This is another comfort food. This is a dish I would eat after a hard day's work. So, is Hakka noodles also egg noodles? Are they similar to ramen too?

Oh, a good question. Hakka is a clan from China, another name is Khek,(in Chinese means 'guest') they speak a different dialect, but they're hardworking people. In M'sia most of them, the early migrants,I mean, work in tin mines and some of them branch out to set up Chinese medical shops. This is one of their dish. Some of their signature dishes are Hakka Yong Tau Fu (Stuffed tofu) and mui choy kow yoke (preserved vegetable with pork slices).
